Biography

Eugene Louis Pingatore was a renowned American basketball coach, serving as the head boys' basketball coach at St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois. He won two Illinois High School Boys Basketball Championships in 1999 and 2015, compiling a record of 1,035–383 over his 50-season tenure. Pingatore also mentored NBA star Isiah Thomas, who played under him at St. Joseph in the late 1970s.
