Biography

Gianni Dei was a versatile Italian actor and singer born on December 21, 1940, in Bologna. He began his career with minor roles in films such as "Run with the Devil" (1960) before landing his breakthrough in the teen romantic comedy "Pronto... c'è una certa Giuliana per te" (1967). Dei went on to appear in a range of low-budget films, including horror and Westerns, before pursuing a pop singing career from the late 1980s. He passed away on October 19, 2020.
