Arthur "Dooley" Wilson was an American actor, singer, and musician who gained fame for his portrayal of Sam in the 1942 film Casablanca. He initially pursued a career as a drummer and singer, leading his own band in London and Paris before transitioning to acting in the 1930s. Wilson's most notable roles included Gabe Tucker in Stormy Weather (1943) and My Favorite Blonde (1942) with Bob Hope.
