Paul Bonifas

Biography

Paul Bonifas was a French actor born in Paris on June 3, 1902. He began his acting career at the Conservatoire de Paris while working for the French customs service and went on to join the Odéon Theatre and Comédie-Française. During World War II, he served as a lieutenant and later formed "The Molière Players" to stage Molière works in London theatres. He appeared in several notable films, including Charade (1963) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1956).
