Monica Vitti was a renowned Italian actress known for her starring roles in Michelangelo Antonioni's films during the early-to-mid 1960s. She also appeared in comedies with Mario Monicelli and worked alongside notable actors including Marcello Mastroianni, Alain Delon, and Dirk Bogarde. Vitti won numerous awards, including five David di Donatello Awards and seven Italian Golden Globes for Best Actress.
