Lauryn Noelle Hill is a pioneering musician and actress born May 26, 1975. She rose to prominence as the frontwoman of the Fugees, whose second album The Score (1996) sold over 22 million copies worldwide and won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. A highly influential figure in neo soul and rap-singing, Hill has been named one of Rolling Stone's 200 Greatest Singers and VH1's 100 Women in Music.
