Neil Richard Flynn is a veteran American actor and comedian born on November 13, 1960. He gained widespread recognition for his iconic role as the Janitor in the medical comedy drama Scrubs (2001–2009) and later starred as Mike Heck in the ABC sitcom The Middle (2009–2018), earning a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination. Flynn's film credits include notable roles in Major League, Hoot, Mean Girls, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
