Hélène Perdrière

Biography

Hélène Perdrière was a French stage and film actress born on April 17, 1912, in Asnieres-sur-Seine. She began her career with a first prize for comedy at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 1928 and later became the first resident of Comédie-French, where she worked until its end in December 1973. Perdrière also appeared in several Marivaux plays during this time and played Suzy Courtois in "Topaze" (1951). She retired from acting a year after joining the Renaud-Barrault Company.
