Maria Michi was a talented Italian supporting actress who began her career in the early neorealist movement, working with directors Roberto Rossellini and Christian-Jaque on notable films such as Rome, Open City and La Chartreuse de Parme. She transitioned to theater, collaborating with director Guido Salvini, before resuming her film career in the 1960s and 1970s, appearing in notable films like Last Tango in Paris and Salon Kitty.
