Elsa Grube-Deister was a German actress who stood out for her portrayal of Anna Quangel in the TV series Jeder stirbt für sich allein. A versatile performer, she began her career on stage, joining the Berliner Ensemble in 1953 and later transitioning to the Deutsche Theater Berlin, where she worked from 1960 to 1999.
