Walter Cameron was a relatively early figure in film history, making a brief appearance as an uncredited Sheriff in Edwin S. Porter's groundbreaking Western, "The Great Train Robbery" (1903), one of the most influential films of its era. Unfortunately, little else is known about his life or career beyond this notable credit. Cameron's contribution to early cinema remains a fascinating footnote in film history.
