Biography

Steve Forrest was a ruggedly handsome actor of the 1960s and 1970s, born William Forrest Andrews to a Baptist minister father in Huntsville, Texas. He served in the US Army during WWII and later studied theatre arts at UCLA, earning a degree before transitioning into acting with a contract at MGM. Notable roles include Lt. Hondo Harrelson in S.W.A.T. and Greg Savitt in Mommie Dearest, for which he received a Golden Globe Award.
