James Traficant
Biography
James Anthony Traficant Jr. was a Democrat who served as the US Congressman from Ohio from 1985 to 2002. His tenure was marked by controversy, including conviction on bribery, racketeering, and other charges, resulting in his expulsion from Congress and a seven-year prison sentence. After his release, Traficant attempted to run for election again while incarcerated. He died in a tractor accident in 2014.
