Biography

Anna Yuryevna Netrebko is a Russian-Austrian operatic soprano born on September 18, 1971. Discovered by Valery Gergiev, she rose to prominence after her global debut as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the 2002 Salzburg Festival. Since then, she has performed at top opera houses worldwide and explored a range of roles, including Violetta Valéry in "La Traviata" and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth.
