Biography

Pushim, born Paku Pushin on November 26, 1975, is a Japanese-Korean reggae artist signed to Sony Music Japan's Ki/oon Records. She began performing in the Kansai reggae scene in 1995 and released her debut single "Brand New Day" in 1999 to critical acclaim. A regular visitor to Jamaica, Pushim has collaborated with artists like Luciano and Sly & Robbie, and was nominated for a Best Reggae Video award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan in 2010.
