Biography

Axel Werner is a German actor born in 1945, whose notable career spanned over five decades. He studied at the Staatliche Schauspielschule Berlin and later joined the Berliner Ensemble, where he remained until 2017. With a rich theater background, including roles in productions of Sophokles' Antigone and Anton Tschechow's Der Bär, Werner has continued to work as a freelancer in film and television since 2017.
