Fernando Di Leo
Biography
Fernando Di Leo was born on January 11, 1932, in San Ferdinando di Puglia. He made his directorial debut in the omnibus comedy Gli eroi di ieri, oggi, domani, and later adapted film noir classics like Alexandre Dumas' "The Count of Monte Cristo" into Italian productions. Di Leo's work spanned Westerns, film noir, and giallo films, including "A Fistful of Dollars" and "Naked Violence".
