Ron Tauranac
Biography
Ron Tauranac was a British-Australian engineer and racing car designer who made significant contributions to motorsport. Born in England in 1925, he emigrated to Australia and collaborated with Jack Brabham, producing cars under the Brabham name that won back-to-back Formula 1 World Championships in 1966 and 1967. Tauranac's engineering expertise led to the revival of the 'Ralt' marque in the 1970s, designing cars that dominated various categories.
