With over four decades of experience, she has contributed to more than one hundred films since 1979 and won the César Award for Best Cinematography in 2011 for her work on Xavier Beauvois' Of Gods and Men. Champetier was also awarded the Berlinale Camera for lifetime achievement in 2023, recognizing her special contribution to cinema.
