JoeyStarr, born Didier Morville on October 27, 1967, is a French rapper, record producer, and actor from Saint-Denis, Île-de-France. He co-founded the iconic rap band Suprême NTM with Kool Shen in 1989, marking a turning point in his life after a tumultuous childhood marked by poverty and violence. This experience fueled his creative expression through music, which eventually led to a successful career spanning film, television, and social commentary.
