Biography

Alan Hugh Dale is a New Zealand actor who developed a passion for theatre and rugby as a child. After retiring from rugby, he became a professional actor at age 27 and moved to Australia to play Dr. John Forrest in The Young Doctors from 1979 to 1982. He later found success playing Jim Robinson in the Australian soap Neighbours, a role that revitalized his career after relocating to the US in 2000.
