Darsheel Safary is an Indian child movie actor known for his acclaimed portrayal of a dyslexic child in Taare Zameen Par (2007). He made his film debut at age nine and won the Filmfare critic's Award for Best Actor for his performance. Before acting, he was part of Shiamak Davar's dance troupe and had no prior acting experience.
