Biography

Stefano Delle Chiaie was a prominent Italian neo-fascist terrorist, founding Avanguardia Nazionale in 1960. He was a key figure in Italy's strategy of tension, working closely with Licio Gelli, grandmaster of the P2 masonic lodge. Delle Chiaie was also linked to Operation Condor in South America, but was acquitted in both cases. His nickname, "il caccola," reflected his short stature, earned after a brief involvement with the Italian Social Movement at age 14.
