Peter Elliott is a British actor and choreographer born in Yorkshire, England in 1956. He made his mark with iconic roles, including the titular ape in "King Kong Lives" (1986). His specialization in ape roles began after a screen test impressed producers for the film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. Elliott's expertise was further honed by studying simian movement at the Institute for Primate Studies at the University of Oklahoma.
