Pauline Lapointe was a Canadian actress and singer from Quebec, born on May 12, 1950, in Chicoutimi. Her notable performance in the 1993 film La Florida earned her a Genie Award nomination for Best Actress. A twin sister of actress Louise Portal, she also released two pop albums before focusing on acting. Lapointe passed away in 2010 due to breast cancer.
