Toshirō Ishidō

Biography

Toshirō Ishidō was a Japanese screenwriter and film evaluationist, born on July 16, 1932, in Hiroshima, Japan. He made his screenwriting debut with the 1960 film "Japan's Night and Fog," and later collaborated with notable directors such as Yoshishige Yoshida, Daigo Matsuzaka, and Toshio Masuda. Ishidō's notable works include "Kôshikei" (1968) and "Black Rain" (1989), which earned numerous awards.
