Giuseppe Zigaina

Biography

Giuseppe Zigaina (1924-2015) was an Italian neorealist painter and author. As a child, he demonstrated a natural talent for drawing, which led to his first exhibition at 19. Zigaina collaborated with renowned artist Pier Paolo Pasolini, appearing in films and illustrating books. His work was influenced by the German New Objectivity, and he eventually adopted engraving as his distinctive artistic technique.
