Hitomi Kobayashi is a pioneering Japanese AV idol and one of the founding figures of the industry. She rose to unprecedented popularity in the mid-1980s, earning her the title "Queen of AV" and laying the foundations for the golden age of adult video. Nikkatsu hired her for theatrical films in 1987, marking a significant milestone in her career. Kobayashi retired from the AV industry in 2003 with a big-budget farewell release.
