Biography

Koji Kiyomura was a Japanese actor born on June 27, 1925, in New潟県, with the stage name Suzuki Koji. He debuted in 1937 and became a regular cast member in various dramas, including NHK's 'こどもの時間' and '事件記者', where he played the iconic role of New Japan Times reporter, Kanzaki. Kiyomura's career was marked by notable roles and personal struggles, ultimately ending in his tragic death by self-inflicted strangulation in 1966 at the age of 40.
