Biography

Maricruz Olivier was a renowned Mexican actress who made her film debut in 1951 and quickly established herself as a leading talent of her generation. Her breakthrough role came in the 1959 telenovela adaptation of Teresa, cementing her on-screen persona as a villainous lead. Later, she starred alongside Antonio Aguilar in the revolutionary-drama Sol en llamas (1962) and appeared in various other films and genres throughout her career.
