Reisen Ri

Biography

Reisen Ri was a Japanese actress of Zainichi Korean origin, born Lee Cho-ja in Tokyo in 1942. She was associated with the Angura underground theatre movement and appeared in notable films such as "Mushi-Shi: The Movie" (2006) and "Female Prisoner Scorpion: Beast Stable" (1973). Ri also gave her film debut in Nagisa Ōshima's "Diary of a Shinjuku Thief" (1969).
