Olga Breno was a Brazilian actress born in Rio de Janeiro on January 18, 1911. She made history as the first woman to star in "Limit" (1931), a landmark film by Mário Peixoto, considered a masterpiece of Brazilian cinema. Years later, she would reconnect with Peixoto and other key figures from her past at cultural events, including a 1996 lecture on "Limite" at the Laura Alvim Cultural House.
