Biography

André Engel (1946-) is a French actor and theatre director known for his work on stage productions such as Brechten Dans la jungle des villes (1972) and C.D. Grabberen Don Juan et Fausto (1973), as well as his collaboration with notable artists like Nicky Rieti and Bernard Pautrat. He served as the director of the Savoia National Theatre School from 1996 to 2004, before establishing a career at Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe.
