Ion Gabella was a versatile actor born in Vitoria in 1968 and passed away in Zumaia in 2002. He appeared in over two dozen films, often as a supporting actor in early works by prominent Basque directors such as Juanma Bajo Ulloa and Alex de la Iglesia. In theater, he was a founding member of the group Sobradún, performing in several works by Mauro Entrialgo. His notable film roles include Rafa in "Gente pez" (2001) and others in 2002's "El robo más grande jamás contado".
