Dawn Roma French is a British actress and comedian born on October 11, 1957, in Holyhead, Wales, to English parents. She co-created the iconic BBC sketch comedy series "French and Saunders" with Jennifer Saunders and starred in the critically acclaimed sitcom "The Vicar of Dibley". A seven-time BAFTA TV Award nominee, French won a BAFTA Fellowship with Saunders in 2009 for their collaborative work.
