He gained recognition for his starring role as Prince in the holiday classic "Tři oříšky pro Popelku" (1973) and later portrayed leading roles in fairy-tale films throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Trávníček also co-founded the Prague theatre Skelet in 1998, showcasing his versatility beyond film acting.
