Amina Maher is a queer feminist artist, activist, actress, and filmmaker born in 1992, Iranian-born and currently living in Berlin, Germany. Her notable works include her early role as "Amin" in Abbas Kiarostami's Ten (2002), nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival. Maher has also directed several internationally acclaimed short films, including Letter to My Mother, Out of Frame, and Where Is the Friend's Home?, which have won numerous awards.
