Mikhail Filippov is a Russian actor and theatre artist, born on August 15, 1947, in Moscow. A graduate of the Moscow State University's Philology Faculty, he later studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), graduating in 1973. Notably, he has held positions as an actor with the Moscow Academic Theatre of Mikhail Shchepkin and as a guest artist at the same institution before joining the Small Theatre in 2023.
