She made her stage debut in the operetta "Lyckoflickan" in 1927 and appeared in numerous films throughout her career, including Gustaf Edgren's "Trötte Teodor" (1931) and the notable film "Pensionat Paradiset" (1937). Maritta Marke was also a singer, performing in operettas.
