She began her career in theater, spending ten years before transitioning to film and television, where she won Best Supporting Actress at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards for Cold Eyes (2013) and "Best Supporting Actress" at the 28th SBS Drama Awards for Dr. Romantic 2. Recently signed with AER Entertainment, a subsidiary of Story J Company, following her departure from YG Entertainment in 2020.
