Vladimir Balashov was a renowned Soviet theater and film actor born on July 10, 1920, in Izhevskoye, Ryazan Governorate. He gained recognition for his roles in notable films such as "Ivan the Terrible, Part II: The Boyars' Plot" (1946) and "The Oppenheim Family" (1938). In 1951, he was awarded the Stalin Prize, First Class, and received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1955.
