Alkiviades "Alki" David is a Greek Cypriot digital media entrepreneur born on May 23, 1968, in Lagos, Nigeria, to a trading and shipping family of Greek-speaking-Cypriot origin. He co-founded the London modeling agency Independent Models and later founded FilmOn and Battlecam, streaming-video sites that showcased his early adoption of social media as a marketing vehicle. In 2006, he appeared in the film "Flight of Fury" as Rojar, marking one of his notable forays into traditional entertainment.
