Biography

Photek, born Rupert Parkes in 1971, began his musical journey playing tenor saxophone before shifting focus to composition with a piano. He transitioned from performance to production around 1992, initially using a sequencer and later adopting the stage name Photek. Notable highlights of his career include scoring the TV show Gang Related with director Allen Hughes and composing music for film soundtracks like Tron: Legacy.
