Mark Jerrold Henry was born on June 12, 1971. He is a two-time Olympian and Pan American Games medalist, holding the WDFPF world records in the squat, deadlift, and total. As a wrestler, he won the inaugural Arnold Strongman Classic in 2002 and became a one-time WWF European Champion and two-time world champion, including holding the ECW Championship and WWE's World Heavyweight Championship.
