Rabih Mroué is a Lebanese stage and film actor, playwright, and visual artist born in Beirut in 1967. He graduated from Lebanese University's theater program in 1989 and has been creating theater pieces since 1990, pushing the boundaries of avant-garde innovation with his group, often incorporating visual arts elements. His work combines earthy humor with political urgency, earning him comparisons to the Wooster Group as a pioneering force in Beirut's reviving theatre scene.
