Biography

Me Me Lai, a Burmese-British actress, was born on November 3, 1951, in Burma to a Burmese mother and English father. She began her acting career in television series such as Paul Temple and Jason King before transitioning to film, including the horror movie Crucible of Terror (1971) and Italian cannibal films like Last Cannibal World (1977) and Eaten Alive! (1980). Lai also appeared in Blake Edwards's Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978) and Lars von Trier's The Element of Crime (1984), marking notable highlights in her eclectic career.
