Steve Cardenas

Biography

Stephen Antonio Cardenas was born on May 29, 1974, in Hampton, Virginia, at Langley Air Force Base, and later spent his childhood as a military brat in San Antonio, Texas, of Spanish and Mexican ancestry. He began training in martial arts at age 12 and has since earned numerous black belts in Taekwondo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Cardenas rose to fame playing Rocky DeSantos, the Red Ranger, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a role he reprised as the Blue Zeo Ranger for Power Rangers Zeo.
