A Taiwanese actress and singer, Grace Gua Ah-leh was born on June 2, 1944, in China. She made her professional film debut in 1965 with The Rain of Sorrow, earning a Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress at just 21 years old. This win made her the youngest Leading Actress winner in Golden Horse history, and she went on to win two more Best Leading Actress awards.
