Dave Stewart

Biography

David Allan Stewart was born in 1952 in Sunderland, England, to a middle-class family with accountant parents. He attended Bede Grammar School and later formed folk-rock band Longdancer, securing a record deal before releasing several EPs as part of the band The Tourists. As the core member of Eurythmics with Annie Lennox, Stewart won three Best British Producer Brit Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
