John Christian Wedge is a filmmaker and voice actor born on March 20, 1957, in Binghamton, New York. He co-founded Blue Sky Studios and directed notable films like Ice Age, Robots, and Epic, earning two Academy Awards nominations. Wedge also created the beloved character Scrat for the Ice Age franchise, which he voiced from 2002 to 2022.
